We are pleased to announce that CUSP’s Disability Rights Curriculum goes live on Sunday June 30th for the Sage college’s in Albany NY. This is an 8 week course outlining the history of the disability rights movement in America, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the future of disability rights in America. The course covers important issues individuals face such as disclosure, accommodations, and accessibility issues. This week was exceptional in regards to the expansion of CUSP educational services in New York State. CUSP staff has meet with faculty at local community and 4-year colleges and will be able to assist college students with their unique needs and transitions at Hudson Valley Community College, Schenectady County Community College, and SUNY Cobleskill. Our very own CEO, Steve Motto will be featured as a keynote speaker at SUNY Cobleksill for their parent/student orientation in mid August.

The CUSP summer expansion efforts have been a growing success. In the past two weeks CUSP employees have met with disability and health service departments on four college campuses in upstate and central New York. CUSP is willing and able to provide coaching services to students and families throughout the state and will be presenting the CUSP program at college orientations.
